Experiences

Egypt is a journey through time. This tour takes you through the main highlights of Egypt – The colossal Pyramids, the numerous tombs and temples along the Nile and the serenity of a Nile Cruise.

This standard itinerary takes you to the Pyramids of Giza, the cities of Luxor & Aswan with its numerous temples and tombs, the ancient cities of Edfu and Kom Ombo, the bustling markets of modern Cairo, the rich museums and a relaxing 4 day cruise on the Nile.

There are various optional experiences to complement your visit on this time machine journey – Go on a amazing Hot-Air Balloon experience in Luxor and view the ancient monuments and tomb area in the soft comfort of the morning sun, go on a food tour in Cairo to understand the culture and food traditions of this lovely country, attend sound and light shows in Giza, Karnak or the temple of Philae – the list goes on.

If you are as mesmerized by this ancient civilization as we are, you can opt for more immersive experiences like taking additional tours to Saqqara and Dashur – where you can see the earliest pyramids – the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid.

You could also go off the beaten track and visit the ancient temple regions of Abydos and Dendara and watch the best preserved large truly monumental temples and some unique sights like the impressive list of Pharaohs, Dendara’s Zodiac ceiling, Cleopatra’s relief, the mysterious ‘Helicopter’ and ‘submarine’ inscriptions at Abydos. Visit the impressive temples of Ramses II and Nefertari at Abu Simbel. You could also visit Saint Catherine – the oldest monastery in the world and watch the Sunrise on Mt. Sinai – where God gave Moses the 10 commandments.

Mardi-Himal-Trek,-Pokhara,-Nepal

Nepal is home to some of the most extreme places in this world; such as the highest lake on the earth (Tilicho 4800 meters), the highest valley on earth (Arun valley), the deepest gorges (1200 meters) in Kaligandaki and the tallest grassland in Chitwan. A country which was shattered by a massive earthquake in 2015, still retains its beauty and is full of people forever warm and hopeful.

Nepal for me is all about nature, philosophy, religion and culture all rolled inseparably into one fascinating treat for the senses. The mountains that are almost omnipresent, the temples, the Stupas, the forests, the lakes, the wildlife… And the culture that seems almost as ancient as time… Not to forget the vibrant night life in an around Thamel.
