Day 1 - Arrival in Zagreb-Explore the City

Arrive at Zagreb, get picked up at the airport and transferred to your accommodation. Explore the city and its many museums, parks and viewpoints. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 2 - Northern Croatia: From the Castles to the Medieval Towns

Take a tour of the city in the morning and head out to the Northern part of Croatia, visiting the Trakoscan castle and the medieval town of Varazdin. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 3 - Slavonija and Osijek

A full day tour of the beautiful and less-visited region of Slavonija, visiting the city of Osijek, as the biggest city of region, having lunch in one of the many traditional rural households, visiting Vukovar – the city of heroes. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 4 - Inland Croatia – Turanj and Plitvice Lakes

A full day in the inlands of Croatia – Turanj with its Homeland war museum, the small fairytale Rastoke village with waterfalls, wooden houses with mills and the famous Plitvice lakes, the most popular, biggest and the oldest National Park in Croatia. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 5 - Zadar and Split

Drive to Zadar, explore the city on a private walking tour of the city with its many attractions including the famous Sea Organ and then head to Split. Overnight in Split.

Day 6 - Split, Trogir and Marjan Forest

Take in a city tour of the ancient Trogir and a walking tour of Split. End the day with an invigorating Marjan forest walk. Overnight in Split.

Day 7 - Split and maybe Hvar or Vis

Spend the day in Split at the beach or shopping or maybe an optional boat tour to Brac, Hvar or Vis. Overnight in Split.

Day 8 - Ploce- Peljecac-Dalmatia

Drive down to Ploce and take a ferry to Peljecac peninsula (Trpanj). Visit the Arboretum Trsteno, the oldest renaissance garden in Dalmatia before driving to Dubrovnik. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 9 - Dubrovnik

Take in a walking tour of the city. Optionally, you could even take in a Lokrum island visit (by boat) or Srd fortress visit. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 10 - Departure

Get transferred to the airport for your departure back home. In case you have time in the morning, you could indulge in some shopping or lazing in one of the small coffee shops around.

Masai-Mara-and-the-Serengeti

This is an experience for those who want to experience a variety of wildlife and game parks in a week. Including the quintessential safari in the Masai Mara reserve, this tour starts with the Amboseli National Park with its scenic landscape with the background of Mt. Kilimanjaro. It’s almost a week-long safari moving from jungle to jungle and staying in luxury tents in most places within the park itself or in close proximity (close enough to hear the sounds of the jungle at night). Arrive at Nairobi airport to be welcomed and taken to your city hotel. Relax for the day and explore the city at your convenience.

Day 2 - Amboseli National Park

Drive to the south of Nairobi to the Amboseli National Park on the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro – the roof of Africa. Enjoy game drives in this compact yet rewarding and panoramic park.

Day 3 - On Safari on the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro

Enjoy a full day of safari with morning and afternoon game drives in the Amboseli National Park. Visit the Observation Hill for stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro

Day 4 - Lake Naivasha

Arrive at your safari lodge near Lake Naivasha. One of the most beautiful lakes in the Rift valley, you will have great opportunities to watch the antics of the hippo in the lake and to experience amazing 360-degree views of the area including crescent island, Mount Longonot, the Mau Escarpment and the misty outline of the Aberdare range.

Day 5 - Game drive at Masai Mara National Reserve

Arrive at the Masai Mara offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. Go on your first game drive in the Mara. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago.

Day 6 - On safari in the Mara

We fly out from home to Buenos Aires. After a short acclimatisation in the heart of Argentina and South American culture, we head out to Antarctica on cruise for the experience of a lifetime. And then head back home after 2 weeks in a fairy-tale dream.

Of course, those desirous of a bit more time in South America can extend with any of the optional modules to cap off a fairy tale with more adventure… It promises to be great fun, especially in a group of like-minded individuals. Isn’t it a great way to shrug off this extended period of enforced no-travel? Come along – don’t trip on the usual…

Remember Antarctica is a place that requires planning much in advance – as much as a year in advance. That can be tricky in these times… Don’t worry, the “cancellation policy” has you covered to a large extent. Check out the details in the Full itinerary below.

Day 1-BUENOS AIRES

Land in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. Get transferred to the hotel and then you can choose to chill, relax or party the evening away in the bustling city. Overnight in Buenos Aires

Day 2-BUENOS AIRES/USHUAIA

Explore the city on a full day tour and enjoy some of the traditional food and drinks in this city of fun. Overnight in Buenos Aires.

Day 3-BEGINNING OF THE FAIRY TALE

Fly early in the morning to Ushuaia, the southern-most tip of South America. Get transferred to your cruise ship and head out to the icy continent – the beginning of the fairytale… Overnight on ship.

Day 4-5- SHIPPING ACROSS THE DRAKE PASSAGE

The famous Drake Passage. Attend some of the lectures by the Expedition Team and learn more about Antarctica’s history, science and fragile environment. Maybe even help to collect data for scientific research! And of course, enjoy the amenities on board the expedition ship. Overnight on ship

Day 6-10-ANTARCTICA... FAIRY TALE LAND!

This is truly the stuff of dreams. Experience a land that is all-white icebergs and whales, wildlife, stark nature, desolation and even huge colonies of penguins. You can head ashore with the Expedition team on landings and ice-cruising to take in Antarctic scenery. Of course, even from deck, you can spot the whales. Do remember that here, this is pure nature, wild nature… The elements are in charge and our schedule is hence at their mercy – but the Captain will work around it in the best possible way for you to experience Antarctica fully.
Immerse yourself in the rich fairy tale landscape, pristine wilderness and wildlife across several places in the South Shetlands and the Antarctic Peninsula. This is the climax of the trip of a lifetime – savour it. Overnight on ship.

Day 11-12- END OF THE FAIRY TALE - BACK TO THE WORLD

Head back to civilization. Use the time to recharge the many memories collected. Box them away neatly to reopen and relive back home. After exploring this exhilarating continent, we set course back to civilisation. Or maybe just chill on deck, potter around in the Science Centre. Maybe even try interacting with the sea birds that follow the ship. Overnight on ship.

Day 13- END OF DREAM. BEGINNING OF LIFE

Land back in Ushuaia and get transferred to the airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires. Get transferred to the hotel and relax. The more energetic can choose to party the evening away at one of the many nightclubs around. Overnight in Buenos Aires.

Day 14- EXPERIENCE BUENOS AIRES

Explore the interesting outskirts of the city… Or maybe take in the bustling football and tango scene of the city… Or choose
to relax, take in the vibe of the city and party the evening away in the city of fun. Overnight in Buenos Aires

Day 15-HEAD HOME

Say goodbye to this part of the world and head home, starting with a transfer to the airport for your flight.

Day 4 - Arrive in Lombok
