Greece is a country in Southern Europe, with extensive coastlines and islands in the Aegean, Ionian, and Mediterranean Seas. We don’t need to mention I’m sure, that its history is almost as old as history itself (well, almost…) and its ancient culture has had a significant influence on the arts, language, philosophy, politics, and sports of modern society… History and culture apart, it’s a lovely place to visit, with a mountainous mainland and idyllic island beaches.

Greece is amazing because you can see rugged mountains, olive groves, tranquil beaches, and rolling hills of white houses all in the same landscape.

Greece is the home to many intellectuals, from Alexander The Great to Aristotle The Philosopher and much more who have left a remarkable mark in the country. Greece is also the birthplace of Olympics , which had started in the year 776 BC as a religious festival in honour of Zeus.

The Greek spirit or kefi (KEH-fee) is found in hearty food, soulful music, and the love of lively conversation. Greeks pride themselves on FILOTIMO a concept to connote friendliness & hospitality.

Greece is pleasant during the spring, summer and autumn.

Are you inspired enough for Greece?

Kuala Lumpur and Borneo

Malaysia is a stunningly complex vacation destination, a land where ethical rainforests give way to multicultural city life. Capital city Kuala Lumpur is visually portrayed by the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, while in charming Melaka the vibe is quainter and more historical. Kuala Lumpur happens to be the port of entry for most of the travellers. This is a city with a vibrant night life and lot of different experiences to savour. The mix of Malay, Chinese, and Indian influence means the city is culturally diverse and there is no dearth of cuisines to sample.

While KL is new age city, Penang still retails the old-world look. The colonial city of Georgetown was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has plenty to offer in the way of museums, a seaside fort, historic homes.

Malacca or Melaka is a UNESCO World Heritage site, where even not doing anything and just walking by the river is a great experience. It is very close to Kuala Lumpur and there are regular bus services between the two cities Langkawi is a beach town which becomes a great option for both relaxed and for an action-packed vacation with water sports.

Borneo is a giant rugged island in South East Asia, shared by believe it or not, 3 countries – Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei! It is a land of pristine beaches and an ancient rainforest famous for its biodiversity.

The Borneo rainforest is one of the oldest in the world – 140 million years old – with about thousands of species of flowering plants, tree, mammals and birds. Of course, it is one of the few remaining natural habitats for the endangered Bornean orangutan and an important refuge for many endemic forest species, including the Borneo elephant, the eastern Sumatran rhinoceros, the Bornean clouded leopard, the Hose’s palm civet and the Dayak fruit bat.

This is a land of jaw-dropping natural beauty, mountains, beaches, rainforests and wildlife (some of which are only found here). Not to forget, a rare and unique culture and a bloody history that dates back in time to the 4th century and possibly earlier… It is a land of stories and legend… And best of all, it is a land very seldom-visited, waiting for you to explore… The Orangutans are waiting for you… So are the shy pygmy elephants… And the most surprising part is that this hidden gem is very accessible – barely an hour or so by flight from the aviation hub of Kuala Lumpur. That means you can combine this with a short city-capsule in Kuala Lumpur or a colonial experience in Malacca or even a beach escapade in Langkawi.

This is as Beyonder as it gets… Come with us… Come and walk the wild side…

Beyonder Namibia Tour
Namibia Land of endless horizons

Few countries in the world can match Namibia’s sheer natural beauty. The country’s name derives from its (and the world’s) oldest desert – the Namib, and there are few more stirring desert realms on the planet – from the stunning sand sea and perfect dead-tree valleys at Sossusvlei to the otherworldliness of sand-dunes plunging down to the ocean at Sandwich Harbour and the Skeleton Coast.

Here are some of the highlights of the Beyonder experience in Namibia – the land of Endless Horizons:

  • Self-Drive through the oldest, driest desert in the world across over 1500 kms of endless horizons – one of the best self-drive destinations in the World
  • Climb the highest Sand dunes in the world
  • Ride down the desert dunes to meet the ocean
  • Watch the display of bones of marine animals and shipwrecks along the Skeleton Coast
  • Admire the ancient rock art (engravings & paintings) of the San hunter-gatherers
  • Experience the culture of the local Damara people in the Living Museum
  • Visit one of the largest breeding colonies of Cape Fur Seals (Cape Cross)
  • Elephants, Lions and horses in the desert? See it only in Namibia!
  • Experience the vastness of the endless horizons of the 2nd least densely populated country in the world
  • And most importantly, take time to listen to the silence and to your soul

Of course, those desirous of a bit more time in Africa can extend with any of the other countries – like Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa, etc. It promises to be an experience of a lifetime, especially in a group of like-minded individuals. Isn’t it a great way to shrug off this extended period of enforced no-travel? Come along – don’t trip on the usual…
