Drive the Whale Coast route – stop at every juncture for those stunning photographs! This is a great Whale-watching destination and for the adrenaline junkie – a Cage Diving excursion to see the Great White Shark would be a bucket list item!

Drive inland and you will find the rolling vineyards in the majestic setting of the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek Mountain ranges – learn to appreciate the variety of excellent wines in various unique estates on a Wine Tasting tour.

A must see and a highlight of the Cape Trip is the beautiful Garden Route. A small distance of 200 kms from Mossel Bay to Stormsrivier, this scenic route is dotted by beautiful beaches, rivers, lagoons, inland lakes, iconic bridges, exciting mountain passes. For the adventure lover, this is a paradise with a vast range of options from simple hiking trails, swimming with seals, bungee jumping, sky diving etc..

Itinerary in brief


Day 1 - Cape Town: The Mother City
Arrive at Cape Town, and enjoy a day at leisure. Optionally visit the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for an exquisite evening dinner..
Day 2 - Capetown: Table Mountain
Explore Cape Town, its culture, traditions and its history. Visit the Bo-Kaap Malay town. Enjoy a cable car ride to the amazing Table Mountain, a New Seven Wonders of Nature. Drive to the next destination. Visit the historic Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated in his fight against the Apartheid regime.
Day 3 - Cape Peninsula: Cape Explorations
Enjoy a day full of scenic drives. Drive through Chapman’s peak to Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope for stunning vistas. Drive to Simon’s Town and meet the noisy but cute African Penguins on Boulders’ beach.
Day 4 - Cape Vineyards: Wine Tasting
Venture inland to the rolling vineyards amidst the lovely setting of the Stellenbosch and Franschhoek mountain ranges. Visit the various vineyards for a guided wine-tasting experience. Stay overnight at Stellenbosch.
Day 5 - Hermanus: Whale Coast
Drive southward towards the coast on to Hermanus. The stunning views of the mountains and the sea are fascinating! Go on a Whale Watching boat trip or a Cage diving experience to try your luck to watch the Great White shark from ‘close’ quarters!
Day 6 - Mossel Bay: Garden Route
Drive to Cape Agulhas, the Southernmost point of Africa to Mossel Bay to start your Garden Route drive. Stop at popular destinations with a unique and interesting activity in store for you. From skydiving, to horse riding, to trekking and relaxing by the beaches, Garden Route has everything you ever desired.
Day 7 - Knysna: Beach by Caves
Indulge in various experiences. Visit an Ostrich farm, Cango Caves, enjoy Lagoon cruises and explore the sightseeing points of Knysna heads and numerous beaches.
Day 8 - Departure: Totsiens!
Bid Adieu to this lovely region and travel to the airport for your return flight.
