Sri Lanka, the land of culture, history, mythology, religion, wildlife, beaches and many more to name is an amalgamation of experiences to witness.
How should we describe Sri Lanka…Should we call it a tear shaped island in the Indian Ocean, south of India? Should we call it a cultural hot spot with Buddhist and Hindu cultures co-existing happily? Should we call it a history buff’s dream with ruins galore dating back to the era Before Christ? Should we call it the die-hard legend seeker’s paradise? Should we call it the surfer and beach-enthusiast’s utopia –after all, some of the world’s best beaches are here? Should I call it the wildlife-enthusiast’s playground – after all, the country abounds with wildlife and wildlife reserves – elephants to leopards to birds?
