Itinerary in Brief

Day 1 - Arrival at Tbilisi: Capital City

Welcome to the land of Georgia. Walk around the old town of Tbilisi and enjoy its charm. Enjoy the local cuisine and famous candies. The old town is filled with crooked homes and such architectural attractions.

Day 2 - Tbilisi: Charming Grandeur

Get ready for a day-long sightseeing tour of Tbilisi, Narikala Fortress, the statue of Mother Georgia, Liberty square, Rustaveli and Kote Afkhazhi street, Tbilisi Mosque, and Abanotubani. Walk along the narrow streets of Old Tbilisi – full of souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, and historic churches.

Day 3 - Kakheti and Sighnaghi: Wine Glory

Embark on a Wine region tour of Kakheti. Explore the beautiful fortified town of Sighnaghi, enjoy breathtaking views of Alazani valley and the Caucasus Mountains while visiting the Bodbe monastery.

Day 4 - Kakheti: Georgian Monasteries

Enjoy the day at the Vineyards, sample the complex flavors of Georgian wine. Enjoy a traditional lunch in a Georgian house and visit beautiful churches of Nekresi and Gremi churches.

Day 5 - MT Kazbegi: Majestic View

Enjoy the gorgeous views of the Mountain passes of the Caucasus while ascending up Mt. Kazbegi. Visit the beautiful Ananuri church set on a scenic reservoir. In Stepantsminda, get awed by the majestic presence of Mt. Kazbegi and the spectacular setting of the Holy Trinity Church.

Day 6 - Mtskheta and Uplistsikhe: Churches and Caves

Visit Mtskheta, Goris, and Uplistsikhe, the most important religious center of Georgia, where the country first adopted Christianity. Visit the Sveti-Tskhoveli Cathedral and the Jvari Monastery. Tour the Stalin museum in Goris. Pay a visit to Uplistsikhe – an ancient city built into the rocks with temples, caves, tunnels, streets.

Day 7 - Tbilisi: Old Town

Walk through the cobbled streets of Tbilisi and indulge in shopping. Enjoy a relaxing Sulphur bath or go on a short river cruise and taste Georgian cuisine in the various restaurants of Old Town Tbilisi.

Day 8 - Departure: Naxvamdis!

Bid Adieu to Caucasus and travel to the airport for your flight.

Itinerary in Brief

Day 1 - Arrival at Baku: Royal Port City

Arrive in the capital city of Armenia – Yerevan. Take a leisurely stroll through the Fountain Square and the Baku Boulevard. From huts to sky kissing buildings, Baku is a city with a striking variance. With best Persian and European cuisine, give your taste buds a treat

Day 2 - Gobustan: Mesmerizing Stones

Visit Gobustan – home to the ancient rock drawings the Petroglyphs which is nearly 12,000 years old and the musical stone. Visit the Maidan tower, mosques, and palaces, the old fort i.e. Icheri Sheher and the fascinating museum of carpets.

Day 3 - Ateshgah: The Absheron Peninsula

Explore the Fire Temple of Ateshgah. Originally, a place of worship of the Zoroastrians, it is now a fortified temple built by 18th Century Indian Shiva devotees. Learn history at the open-air Gala museum and watch the spectacle of the burning mountain at Yanardag.

Day 4 - Sheki: Palaces, Mosques, and Churches

Move to Sheki , capital of the Sheki Khanate. Stop by Diri Baba Mausoleum, Shamakhi mosque, and the small Udin church once a prominent community church in the Caucasus.

Day 5 - Sheki and Lagodekhi: Regal pathway to Georgia

Visit the colorful palaces of Sheki Khan with beautiful wall paintings and the colored stained glass windows. After a visit to the Albanian church in Kish, move towards Georgia through Lagodekhi. Drive to Sighnaghi in Kakheti – the wine region of Georgia.

Day 6 - Kakheti and Sighnaghi: Wine Glory

Embark on a Wine region tour of Kakheti. Explore the beautiful fortified town of Sighnaghi, enjoy breathtaking views of Alazani valley and the Caucasus Mountains while visiting the Bodbe monastery. Itinerary in brief

Day 1: Yerevan– Arrival

Arrive in the capital city of Armenia – Yerevan. Have the day at leisure and in the evening take a leisurely stroll through the Republic Square and the North Avenue.

Day 2: Yerevan City Sightseeing

Embark on a tour of the lively Yerevan today – visit the History Museum, Republic Square, Mother Armenia, Blue Mosque, Matenadaran – the manuscript museum and the poignant Genocide museum – which will give you a close understanding of the persecution, the Armenian people had to endure in recent history.

Day 3: Echmiadzin, Zvarnots, Garni & Geghard

Start the day by a visit to Echmiadzin – the holy seat of the Supreme Patriarch-Catholicos of all Armenians. The Cathedral was built in 303 AD after the adoption of Christianity as a state religion in 301 AD. Later visit the ruins of the uniquely designed Temple of Zvarnots (700 AD). Back in Yerevan, learn more about the history of Armenia in the Armenia History Museum and Matenadaran (museum of manuscripts)

Day 4: Khor Virap and Noravank monasteries

Then visit the Areni wine factory for a local wine tasting session. Later, visit the 12th century monastery complex of Noravank set in a picturesque canyon.

Day 5: Lake Sevan, Crossing the Lesser Caucasus

Drive to Lake Sevan, the largest Alpine Lake in the world, via the picturesque Avon Canyon. After visiting the historic Haghpat monastery complex – a UNESCO World Heritage site, near Alaverdi, proceed towards the Georgian border and then drive towards Tbilisi.

Day 6: Enjoy the charming sights of Tbilisi

In Tbilisi, visit the Narikala Fortress, the statue of Mother Georgia, Liberty square, Rustaveli and Kote Afkhazhi street, Tbilisi Mosque, and Abanotubani. Walk along the narrow streets of Old Tbilisi – full of souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, and historic churches.

Day 7: Wine Region – Kakheti, Signaghi

Embark on a Wine region tour of Kakheti. Explore the beautiful fortified town of Sighnaghi, enjoy breathtaking views of Alazani valley and the Caucasus Mountains while visiting the Bodbe monastery.

Day 8: Departure

Bid Adieu to the Caucasus and transfer to the airport for your flight home.
