Hangover cures from around the world
Don’t hate hangovers – they are just a reminder of the glorious revelry the night before… 😁
The one common thread in most countries that we have traveled to the last year, is a love for the drinks – Rakija, Raki, Raksi, Schnapps, Tongba, Vermouth, Aperitivo, Sake, Whisky, Waragi, Sopi, Arrack, Vodka, Umqombothi, Toddy… And with them, the traditional hangover cures… Here are some for you to try just in case you have had one too many while welcoming the New Year or the New season or the New day or whatever… 😁

The panacea for hangover here is lemon water which has the properties of citric acid which changes the level of PH in the body and helps to cure the hangover symptoms..
These are traditional hangover cures and may not be scientifically proven or 100% effective… but they are fun to try…
The best cure of course is to not over-indulge when partying… Instead of drinking, you can spend your time at parties making “lemon pigs” for luck… They are supposed to bring luck for the year by the way, and are fairly easy to make… Like this one 😉
