Why visit Nepal?

Nepal Map

Nepal is a landlocked central Himalayan country in South Asia, bordered by China and India. This small country is a treasure trove for the nature lover – fertile plains, subalpine forested hills, an ancient culture and eight of the world’s ten tallest mountains – including Mount Everest!

As far as history is concerned, Nepal is probably as old as history itself – the recorded history is from the Neolithic age! The name Nepal is first recorded in texts from the Vedic Age, the era which founded Hinduism…

It is also the land of religion – Lord Shiva is the guardian deity of this Hindu country. The famous Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva – the Pashupatinath Temple, where Hindus from all over the world come for pilgrimage is in Nepal. Further, according to Hindu mythology, the goddess Sita of the epic Ramayana, was born in Nepal.

That’s not all – Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, was born in this country in the middle of the first millennium BC. His place of birth, the land that he walked as a child still exists and is possible to visit!

”More(+)”

This is a land that appeals to the traveler at various levels – the ancient history, the religious connects, the fabulous natural beauty, the sublime thought and philosophy, the profusion of colour, the legends, the rich folklore, the centuries old living traditions, the mountains, the lakes, the forests… And the people tough, friendly, smiling and happy, despite the adversity that nature has thrown at them… Through it all, the undercurrent of a cosmopolitan outlook has ensured more than adequate infrastructure for travelers…

A land that is a must-visit… Come Beyonder with us to this veritable salve for the senses…

Things to note

best time to visit
Spring and autumn, is the ideal time to visit Nepal. However, this could be depending on what you want to do here. June-September is not a great time if you are trekking but this is the time the country becomes breath-takingly beautiful, clean and fresh. The winter, from October to February, is fairly chilly but bearable, with its own beauty

What our Nepal Travellers Say

BhutoriaBeyonder Traveller - Nepal

So there are these two holidays we take in a year. One is with family and the other with our group of friends and there is this subtle difference between the two.

”More(+)”

The family vacation entails a little more intricate planning laying stress on the comfort factor and food.

The vacation with friends can be a little more casual.

I had the opportunity of going to both these type of holidays with Beyonder Travels.

Our trip to Nepal was a family trip and so well planned and executed by the Beyonder guys that even I was surprised. Starting from the quality of vehicles upto the attention paid to choice of hotels, it was a beautiful experience.

It just made me sure about who to go to for further holidays

Contrary to this, our only men trip to Munnar for seeing the Neelakurunji flower was also done by Beyonder. And just the right bit of ruggedness added to the flavor to the trip.

Trust Beyonder to take care of these little extra details is probably what turns the Customer’s satisfaction to the Customer’s delight.
