Itinerary in brief


Day 1 - Hanoi : Red River City
Arrive at Hanoi. Explore the River bound city at your own pace.The city’s fascinating beauty characterized by unique cultural relics, ancient streets of antique houses, elegant French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and romantic lakes.Visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple located on an islet in the lake.Get your dose of evening entertainment with the Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry at Thang Long Theatre. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2 - Hanoi City Tour : Vietnamese Day
Start the day with visiting Ho Chi Minh Complex and Museum and the Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda dedicated to Avalokiteshvara or Buddha.Drive to the largest lake of Hanoi and oldest Pagoda of Tran Quoc.Walk/cycle through Hanoi’s downtown to the Old Quarter of 36 ancient streets and enjoy your evening around the vibrant Ho Hoan Kiem Lake.Relax with a Bia hoi drink at a little street side bar. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3 - Halong Bay : Overnight Cruising
Drive through the countryside towards Halong Bay soaking in the countryside life. Board a cruise boat to explore the legendary Ha Long Bay. The bay, famous as one of the world’s wonders consists of around 2,000 karst islands and islets scattered. At night enjoy a sundowner on the top deck and look out for shooting stars. Overnight in Halong Bay Cruise.
Day 4 - Halong Bay : Morning by the Bay
Wake up to a view of jagged karst mountains. Soak in the splendid yet tranquil view of the bay at the crack of dawn. Enjoy your Tai Chi session, cooking classes.Fly back to Hanoi and enjoy evening walking idly in the Old quarter, or binge at one of the many restaurants.Take a flight to Danang and then to Hue. Overnight in Hue.
Day 5 - Hue-The Imperial City
Explore Hue – the Imperial capital of the Nguyen dynasty.Visit the Hue Citadel,the forbidden city and the royal palace, Thien Mu Pagoda and the exquisite tombs of the past emperors.In the evening relax by the Perfume River and adore the art in the Walking streets of Vietnam’s art capital. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6 - Trains,Beaches and Mountains : Cities Hopping
Take a train ride to Danang enjoying the scenic views of the mountains and the sea shoreline. Explore the famous Marble mountains,rocky limestone outcrops jutting out of the beach just south of Da Nang.Visit the intriguing Cham Museum having archaeological relics of Hindu deities. Move to Hoi An. Stroll through the villages and the vibrant local market. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7 - Hoi An : Ancient Town
Hoi An,a peaceful town well-preserving architecture, lifestyles and traditions. Explore this charming town with breaks in the numerous coffee roasteries, charismatic restaurants with the delightful Hoianian cuisine and the vibrant markets. Visit the museums to witness a fusion of cultures. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8 - Easy Living : Spirit of Hoi An
Explore the green countryside of Vietnam on bicycles, take a coconut boat ride in the lagoons of Hoi An, sip coffee in the charming roasteries around town, gorge on traditional central Vietnamese cuisine in the various authentic restaurants and shop for lanterns in the bustling night market. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 9 - Ho Chi Minh City : Being Vietnamese
Visit the War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old SaiGon Post Office, a neo-Romanesque cathedral.Try the delicacy Pho or the Vietnamese Noodles Soup with the Spring Rolls and do look out for lovely lacquer souvenirs. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 10 - Ho Chi Minh City and Cu Chi Tunnel : A Holy Expedition
Start the day at Tay Ninh. Visit the Great Temple of The Holy See Temple of a rare religion named Cao Dai native to the province. Drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 11 - Mekong Delta : Floating down the tradition
Drive to a riverside town along the world’s largest delta.Cruise to lively Cai Be floating market and shady canals to Hoa Binh Phuoc Island.Experience Vietnamese rural life. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 12 - Departure : Tạm Biệt
Take time out to do some last minute shopping before your flight back home with memories of days spent in the midst of ocean, ancient civilization and beautiful nature.
