Itinerary in brief
Day 1 - Kolkata: City of Joy
Upon arrival at Kolkata airport get transferred at your hotel and enjoy the evening of the city at leisure. Overnight in Kolkata.
Day 2 - Kolkata: City Tour
Following an early breakfast, you can explore Dalhousie Square, the Flower Market, Victoria Memorial, the Indian Museum, St. Paul Cathedral, and Mother Teresa’s House. Overnight in Kolkata.
Day 3 - Kolkata: Spirituality and Gastronomy
Pay a visit to Belur Math, the international headquarters of Ramakrishna Mission founded by Swami Vivekananda. Next, make your way to the Dakshineswar Kali Temple. Indulge in a delightful feast of Bengali cuisine, from starters to delectable sweets. Overnight in Kolkata.
Day 4 - Darjeeling: Queen of Hills
Drive to Darjeeling, a hill town nestled by the mountains and known worldwide for the Darjeeling tea. Visit a tea estate and sample some great tea. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 5 - Darjeeling: Tiger Hills
Enjoy a scenic sunrise at Tiger Hills and see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. Spend some time at Ghoom Monastery. Explore more of Darjeeling on a toy train and also visit The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 6 - Departure: Bidaya!
Travel to the Bagdogra airport for your flight back home.
