Itinerary in brief

Day 1 - Welcome to Bhutan: The land of happiness
Arrive at Paro airport and travel to Thimpu, the capital city of Bhutan. Explore the town and its quaint history. Overnight stay at Thimpu.
Day 2 - Thimphu: Explore the culture & heritage
Visit Kuensel Phodrang, world’s largest Sitting Buddha statue, Folk Heritage Museum, Changangkha Monastery, Takin Preserve Centre & more. Souvenir shopping at the weekend market is a must.
Day 3 - Thimphu: Punakha
Drive to Punaha, the winter residence of religious head of Bhutan, Je-Khenpo. Visit Punakha, a majestic fortress set against the confluence of two rivers, Chhimi Lhakhang – or “The Temple of Fertility”, Punakha Dzong and more.
Day 4 - Punakha to Paro
Enjoy a scenic drive to Paro passing through beautiful mountains and Dochula pass, the most beautiful pass in Bhutan. Explore the town, its monasteries and local cuisine.
Day 5 - Paro: Tiger’s Nest
Trek up to the Taktsang Monastery or “Tiger’s Nest”, a monastery perched on a rocky cliff. Visit the Drukgyel Dzong & Kichu Monastery. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 6 - Chelela: drive to the mountains
Drive to the Chelela pass, the highest motorable pass in Bhutan, and enjoy the views of Jomolhari, part of Himalayas. Later in the day visit Ta Dzong, National Museum and get to know more about the art and history
Day 7 - Departure: Le Shim Bay Jo eh!
Bid Adieu to Bhutan and travel to the airport with lots of happy memories
