Rugged yet serene, these huge, inlets are stunning; and are a visual delight during summer time. Fjord cruise is a must in Norway especially during the summer. Along the sides and at the inner and outer ends of each fjord, reside the small communities and villages, each with its own speciality that reflects its local traditions and way of life. While there are Fjord cruise options of longer duration for summers, this package has been designed keeping in mind shorter duration and also allowing travellers to experience the mountain railways, and other key activities.

Itinerary in Brief

Day 1 - Oslo: Northern Province

The Norwegian capital is wonderfully located at the top of the Oslo Fjord. Explore this city surrounded by forested ridges. Arable fields and vast forests. Overnight in Oslo.

Day 2 - Oslo: City Tour

Experience the beauty and majesty of the New Opera house, the Royal castle, the Viking museum, and Akershus Fortress. End the day with a fjord cruise on the Oslofjord. Overnight in Oslo.

Day 3 - Myrdal: Scenic Flam Train

Get on a scenic train ride to Myrdal and once there, swap to the famous Flåm Railway that passes through wild and beautiful scenery with waterfalls and steep mountain sides. It descends down to Flåm at a sidearm of the Sognefjord. Overnight in Flåm.

Day 4 - Flam: Cruise through Fjords

Discover Flåm and its surroundings by dawn, either walking, cycling or kayaking. Cruise down to the Aurlandsfjord and narrowest UNESCO site of Nærøyfjord to Gudvangen. Overnight in Bergen.

Day 5 - Bergen: Fjord Gateway

Bergen, the Gateway to the Fjords is located on the west coast of Norway with close proximity to the famous Norwegian fjords. Get on the Hop on Hop off bus and experience the city. Overnight in Bergen.

Day 6 - Oslo: Nightlife

Arrive at Oslo by train and explore the city on your own. Try the local drinks and cuisine especially the whale meat and Aquavit. Overnight in Oslo.

Day 7 - Departure: Ha Det!

Get transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
