Why visit Switzerland?

Switzerland map outline

Switzerland! We know it is scenic… we know it is mountainous… we know it makes a great holiday destination… But there’s more to this devastatingly beautiful land… there is a lot more to Switzerland than the chocolates, cheese, cuckoo clocks, luxury timepieces, trains and of course Roger Federer. This is a country with more than 1500 lakes, a country which is 70% covered in mountains…. Its inviting landscapes, the hiking-biking trails, lakes, and snow-capped mountains make Switzerland apt for outdoors. A country made up of several distinct cultures including German, French, Italian, Roman – each of them is reflected in the unique Swiss way of life…

Most of the locals are fluent in English; language is not an issue in Switzerland.  Switzerland is one of the cleanest and safest states. Whether you are a solo traveler, or traveling with friends and family or are on a Honeymoon, Switzerland and its picture-perfect landscape will be a delight.

And who can ignore the somewhat bizarre, sometimes tragic, but always treasured traditions and folklores – the stories of dragons, witches, Dwarfs, and Alps… The Swiss experience is incomplete without them…

”More(+)”

It is ideally located for a quick getaway to other cities as it borders Germany, Italy, France, and Austria. There are good train connections to travel to these cities from Switzerland

Don’t forget to buy yourself a Swiss Watch and some Swiss chocolates.
