Itinerary in brief
Day 1 - Tokyo: Tenka No Daidokoro
Arrive in Tokyo and the evening is at leisure. Overnight stay in Tokyo.
Day 2 - Tokyo: City Tour
Visit Asakusa, Nakamise, one of the oldest shopping streets in Japan, Meiji Shrine. Drive by Ginza and Odaiba. Visit Hamaryuku garden and Tokyo Tower.
Day 3 - Mount Fuji: Scenic Volcano
Visit the Fuji 5th Station which is a base to many trails. Take a short cruise at Lake Ashi, and then ride on the scenic Komagatake ropeway from where you can view Mt. Fuji.
Day 4 - Tokyo: The Eastern Capital
Explore Tokyo on your own. Visit the Teamlabs Planets, Miraikan – The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation or shop at the bustling streets of Tokyo. Overnight stay in Tokyo.
Day 5 - Kyoto: Cultural Capital
Take the Bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto. Evening explore the city on your own. Or opt for Gion Walking tour in the oldest streets of Kyoto. Overnight stay in Kyoto.
Day 6 - Kyoto: City Tour
Visit the Imperial Palace, Kinkakuji temple famously known as the Golden Pavilion and Fushimi Inari Taisha ,with the seemingly unending path of over 5000 vibrant orange torii gates. Overnight stay in Kyoto.
Day 7 - Nara: Shrines and Temples
The city, once the capital of Japan, is now home to many temples and shrines. Get a glimpse of culture and history at Todaiji Temple of Great Buddha, Nara Park, Kasuga Taisha Shrine. Overnight stay in Kyoto.
Day 8 - Osaka: City Tour
Transfer on the Bullet train to Osaka. Visit the Osaka Castle and Dotonbori shopping street. Overnight stay in Osaka.
Day 9 - Hiroshima: History and more
Ride on a bullet train to Hiroshima. Visit the Hiroshima Peace and Memorial Park and Museum, Miyajima Island and Itsukushima Shrine. Take a train ride back to Osaka.
Day 10 - Departure: Sayonara!
Get transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
