Going Beyonder on Safaris – the Okavango Delta and the Chobe National park 7D/6N

Botswana-Okavango

This experience covers the best aspects of the unmatchable wildlife experience of Botswana – the Okavango floodplains and the varied ecosystems of the Chobe National Park.

Situated deep within the Kalahari Basin, Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is often referred to as the ‘jewel’ of the Kalahari. Experiencing safaris on the traditional canoes (Mokoros)on the floodplains is unlike any other safari that you may have been on in Africa; a unique opportunity to observe wildlife up and close.

The Chobe National Park, with a very high density of wildlife, has distinct ecosystems within it – ranging from floodplains, river systems to savannahs. Famous for its large herds of Elephants and buffaloes, enjoy this park on a river cruise, game drives and walking safaris. With more than 450 species of birds recorded in the park, this is truly a birder’s idea of paradise!

This tour is a comfortable ‘assisted’ camping safari experience – with more conveniences as compared to a basic camping safari. Live in the heart of the wilderness in basic camps in the lively company of your fellow travelers, the naturalists and your friendly camp staff.
