Going Beyonder in Peru

Peru is a country in South America bordered in the north by Ecuador and Colombia, in the east by Brazil, in the southeast by Bolivia, in the south by Chile, and in the south and west by the Pacific Ocean. There is lots to experience in Peru from culture to cuisine, natural beauty and history. In our quick module we have tried to capture the essence of this country focusing on Machu Pichu and the erstwhile Inca capital of Cuzco.

This is a bite-sized flavour of this diverse country. We have tried to capture the essence of Peru – as much as we could cover in 8 days. We will explore the bustling modernity of Lima, the old worldliness of Cuzco, the charms of Olantaytambo with some of the oldest continuous inhabitation in the region and cap it all off with the majestic ruins of Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the World. Itinerary in brief

Day 1 - Arrival in Lima

Upon arriving at Lima International Airport, meet the representative and transfer to your hotel. Have a stroll around Lima city in evening. Overnight in Lima.

Day 2 - Lima City Tour

Head out and enjoy the History-filled alleys, churches, walls and archaeological treasures await you in the magnificent capital of Peru. Overnight in Lima.

Day 3 - Arrival in Cuzco

Depart to Cuzco on the morning flight and then enjoy the half day city tour of Cuzco- The Inca Capital City. Overnight in Cuzco.

Day 4 - Sacred Valley: Maras & Moray

Depart and immerse yourself in the history & culture of Inca Civilization. Explore the Sacred Valley, Maras & Moray on the full day tour. Overnight in Cuzco.

Day 5 - Pisac & Ollantaytambo

Explore the Pisac Town which is famous for its artisans and colonial influence. Visit the Incan Fortress of Ollantaytambo. Overnight in Cuzco.

Day 6 - Machu Picchu!

Take the morning train to foothill town of Aguas Calientes. Hike up to the majestic Machu Picchu. Explore the history & culture of Machu Picchu. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 7 - Back to Cuzco

In the morning, you can take a chance of trekking back to Machu Picchu on your own. Take the train back to Cuzco. Overnight in Cuzco.

Day 8 - Cuzco- Lima

Enjoy exploring and shopping in the Cuzco City Markets before taking the flight back to the capital city of Lima. Overnight in Lima.

Day 9 - Departure

Get transferred to Lima International Airport for your onward flight.
