Peru is a country in South America bordered in the north by Ecuador and Colombia, in the east by Brazil, in the southeast by Bolivia, in the south by Chile, and in the south and west by the Pacific Ocean. There is lots to experience in Peru from culture to cuisine, natural beauty and history. In our quick module we have tried to capture the essence of this country focusing on Machu Pichu and the erstwhile Inca capital of Cuzco.
We will explore the bustling modernity of Lima, the old worldliness of Cuzco, the charms of Olantaytambo with some of the oldest continuous inhabitation in the region and cap it all off with the majestic ruins of Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the World. Itinerary in brief
Day 1 - Arrival in Lima
Upon arriving at Lima International Airport, meet the representative and transfer to your hotel. Have a stroll around Lima city in evening. Overnight in Lima.
Day 2 - Fly to Cuzco
Depart to Cuzco on the morning flight and then enjoy the half day city tour of Cuzco- The Inca Capital City. Overnight in Cuzco.
Day 3 - Authentic Sacred Valley and Moray
Depart and immerse yourself in the history & culture of Inca Civilization. Explore the Sacred Valle and Moray on the full day tour. Overnight in Yucay.
Day 4 - Machu Picchu!
Take the morning train to foothill town of Aguas Calientes. Hike up to the majestic Machu Picchu. Explore the history & culture of Machu Picchu. Overnight in Cuzco.
Day 5 - Back to Lima
Take the flight back to the capital city of Lima. Head out and enjoy the History-filled alleys, churches, walls and archaeological treasures await you in the magnificent capital of Peru. Overnight in Lima.
Day 6 - Departure
Get transferred to Lima International Airport for your onward flight.
