In recent history; these islands have a great connect with the Indian Freedom struggle – the Cellular Jail, Ross Island, Viper Island, Hopetown and Mount Harriet.
For the wildlife lovers, there are as many as 270 species and sub-species of birds in Andamans. And you may also hear about Dogong (sea cow), a 400kg vegetarian creature, only found in this place
