Bulgaria, Macedonia and Albania, three countries in the heart of the Balkans that have so much in common in terms of history and each of them is today so unique in terms of culture. Apart from the warm and welcoming nature of its people, the motherland of Alexander the Great, Macedonia strikes with extraordinary natural beauty and diversity that remained in the shadows for so long! Bulgaria captivates with its preserved traditions in the cozy inviting villages that dot the countryside and the charismatic west meets east feel of the vibrant capital Sofia! Albania on the other hand captivates with its specular mountains that take up one third of its territory, the totally off the beat track unspoiled coastline and the incredibly warm people.

Itinerary in brief
Day-1- Arrive at Tirana
Arrive at the airport and get transferred to the hotel. If time permits head out on a tour of Tirana
Day-2- Durres: Ancient sites
Visit the Durres Amphitheatre and the Durres Castle and Berat fortress and the Onufri museum
Day-3- Macedonia: Pogredec Lake and St. Naum Monastery
Visit Pogradec lake cross the border to Macedonia at St. Naum and visit the Monastery
Day-4- Ohrid and Tikvesh: Old town Ohrid (UNESCO site)
Take a morning walk in the Old town of Ohrid, (UNESCO site). Visit the oldest winery in Macedonia.
Day - 5 - Stobi: Millennium Cross
Tour of Stobi visit the Vondo mountains and the Millennium Cross
Day-6- Bulgaria: Rila Monastery and Bansko
Visit the Rila monastery which is an UNESCO site and, on the way, stop for wine tasting at the local winery.
Day-7- Tour of Plovdiv
Day tour of Plovdiv an ancient city
Day-8- Bachkovo Monastery
Visit Bachkovo Monastery and leave for Sofia
Day-9- Departure
Make your way to the airport for your flight back home
