Arrive in Zurich
Arrive in Zurich, take a train to your hotel and if time permits, stroll along the banks of Lake Zurich or discover the world famous shopping in Bahnhofstrasse. Overnight in Zurich.
Take in a city tour of Zurich covering the Old Town, Chagall windows and ride the cogwheel railway “Dolderbahn” to the viewpoint. Enjoy the riverside activities, lakeside bathing and a hike to the Uetliberg mountain. Overnight in Zurich.
Train it down to Lucerne and check in at your hotel. Then an excursion to Mount Titlis at 3020 meters. Overnight in Lucerne.
Pass over the Brunig Pass en route by train to Interlaken over the Brunig Pass and check in at the hotel. Discover the village in a relaxed fashion and have your fill of viewing the 3 famous mountains – Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. Overnight in Interlaken.
Excursion to the highest train station in Europe, the Jungfraujoch at 3454 meters. Enjoy the views of the snow-capped mountains and the 22 km long Aletsch glacier. Come back to Interlaken for the night.
Chug along the shores of the Lake Thun on to Simmen valley with Zweisimmen, the famous resort of Gstaad and then on to Montreux for the train ride of your life… Overnight in Montreux.
Head out by cogwheel railway to the mountain that offers spectacular views over Lake Geneva and the Alps. Return and take the train to Geneva for the night.
Catch up on some last minute shopping in Geneva before catching the train to the airport for your flight back home… Get back with pictures and memories of unbelievable natural beauty and the most outstanding railway holiday of your life.
