Arrive at Stockholm and the city’s well-preserved medieval buildings that stand alongside modern architecture. Just outside the city, the archipelago of 24 000 islands is definitely worth visiting. Also visit the Vasa Museum, Skansen Open Air Museum, City Hall and of course the Old Town (Gamla Stan).
Stockholm – Trosa
Explore more of Stockholm at leisure. Follow the ABBA spirit and visit the newly opened ABBA Museum. Have fun recording your own song or be a dancing queen or king on stage. In the afternoon take the train and bus to Trosa, a sea side paradise with less than 5K population. Explore the sleepy town and try spotting the summer houses of the celebrities like the Abba member Benny Andersson, actor Mikael Persbrandt (‘Beorn’ in The Hobbit to international readers) and some more.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is at your leisure in Trosa. Stroll through the carefully preserved town centre or along the river with its pastel-colored, turn-of-the-century houses and glazed verandas.You are never far from any café or restaurant and can enjoy a traditional Swedish fika (coffee and pastry in the afternoon). Relax in the park of Trosa Stadshotell which was already a meeting place for society in the early 19th century.

Breakfast at the hotel. Check out from the hotel and take the train and bus back to Stockholm. Arriving in Stockholm you will have time to relax and explore the city further.
