Reykjavic city tour, Blue Lagoon and Reykjanes Peninsula
After a quick city tour, head to the Reykjanes Peninsula with its hot springs, mountains, bird cliffs, lighthouses and fishing villages. Relax in the warm mineral-rich waters of the famous Blue Lagoon in the evening. Head out to a simple cabin by a river away from the city for overnight stay and a hunt for the Northern Lights scheduled for late evening.
Mystical waterfall optional glacier hike
Head along the south coast to a place near the active volcano beneath the Eyjafjallajökull glacier. Admire the Seljalandsfoss waterfall ( mystical waterfall from GoT) and visit Skógar folk museums before heading to the impressive Skógafoss waterfall.
Optional glaciers walk in the afternoon to the Sólheimajökull glacier tongue that extends from the large Mýrdalsjökull glacier, down to the Icelandic south coast. Else a walk on the black lava beach with the famous bird cliffs at Reynisfjara near Vík awaits you. The evening, if it is clear, is reserved for the Northern Lights.
