Rendezvous with the wild , is next on the plate – Gir, the last remaining habitat of the Asiatic Lion, in addition to the leopard, crocodiles, deer and birds. Glimpses of the history of India and the Indus Valley Civilization the way it was, at Lothal, and the ancient Jain temples of Palitana. Day 01:
Arrival – City Tour

Arrive at Ahmedabad; get transferred to your hotel. Explore the history and heritage of this city at Gandhi Ashram, Calico Textiles Museum (with Prior Permission), Dada Hari Step Well, Adalej Step Well, Siddi Sayed Mosque, Hate Singh Jain Temple. Overnight stay at Ahmedabad

Day 2:
Ahmedabad – Poshina , heritage walk

Drive to Poshina, and meet the local/tribal community. Poshina is home to a tribal shrine where you find the staggering scene of thousands of terracotta horses standing in rows as offerings to the local goddess. Spend some time at the house of local tribesmen and get a first hand experience of their living.Witness the making of terracotta horses at a potter’s home. Overnight stay Poshina.

Day 3:
Poshina – Patan – Modera – Dasada

Visit the Patan Step well, a unique type of water well with stairs, with carving on the walls, which used to be a massive structure once. Head to Modhera Sun temple built in 11th Century. Overnight stay at Dasada

Day 4:
Little Rann of Kuchh: Wildlife Safari

Say Hello to the brown Asiatic (Wild ass) endemic to Gujarat, blackbuck Nilgai or blue bull (India’s largest antelope) and the graceful Chinkara (Indian gazelle) are other mammals. Also the flamingoes, pelicans, ducks, cranes and storks would add a lot of color to the Safari.
In the evening visit the weaving villages. Overnight stay at Dasada

Day 5:
Dasada– Dhamadka – Bhuj

Drive to Bhuj enroute visit Dhamadka know for Ajrakh Block printing, which is done using natural colors like turmeric, pomegranate seeds only. Visit the Mirror Palace, Prag Mahal and Kutch Museum in Bhuj Overnight stay in Bhuj

Day 6:
Bhuj : Culture and Heritage

Visit the Banni village, Bhirandiyara (famous for its milk based delicacies) and Ludiya (known for embroidery work). Overnight stay in Bhuj

Day 7:
Bhuj – Mandvi: Palaces and Beaches

Located on the banks of the Rukmavati River, just 1 kilometer away from the Arabian Sea at the Gulf of Kutch, Mandvi used to be the summer retreat of the Royal families. Visit the Vijaya Vilas Palace and the Ship building industry. Relax by the beach in the evening. Overnight stay at Mandvi

Day 7:
Mandvi –Muli

Drive to Muli and spend some time with the Artisans of Bandhini Tie and die and Brassware. Overnight stay at Muli

Day 8:
Muli –Gir ; Wildlife Safari

Meet the Asiatic Lions at the lush green forests of Gir. Other than the lions the sanctuary boasts of different varieties of deer, antelope, birds and crocodiles. Overnight stay at Gir

Day 9:
Gir –Bhavnagar; Museums and Library

Visit the Barton Museum established in 1885. It is an archaeological museum with collection of coins, fossils, weapons, farming equipment and more. Overnight stay at Bhavnagar

Day 10:
Bhavnagar-Palitana-Lothal- Anand

Drive to Palitana , climb Mount Shatrunjaya and soak in the view. . It is known for being the largest cluster of Jain temples with a total of 863 temples from base to the peak of the Shatrunjaya hill. This place is very sacred to the followers of Jainism and some of the the temples are from 11th century AD . Drive to Lothal, one of the Indus Valley civilization sites excavated in India. Overnight stay at Anand.

Day 11:
Vadodara Chamapaner

Visit the Laxmi Vilas Palacewhich, is a mix of Indo, Islamic and European architecture. Spend some time at the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum, which boasts of a royal collection of Art treasures. Later drive to the UNESCO World heritage site of Champaner, one of the great archialogical zones. Overnight stay at Champaner

Day 12:
Champaner- Chhota Udaipur

This place is well known for Rathwa tribes, who migrated from Central India. Take a peek into the traditional architecture, life style and handicraft of different traditional community. And of course see the Pithora paintings. Overnight stay at Champaner

Day 13:
Chhota Udepur – Saputara

After a hectic tour drive to the Saputara hills and relax. Overnight stay at Saputara

Day 14:
Saputara – Excursion to Dangi tribe villages

Saputara is situated on the border of Maharashtra, and the local culture has significant Maratha Influences.
Full day excursion of tribal villages, visiting Limba, Kosambia and other villages north of Saputara. Visit the Dangi Craft Studio which houses the local art of Dangi Tribes.

Day 15:
Saputara – Mumbai & Departure

Get transferred to the Mumbai airport for your onward journey.
