Arrival at Yogyakarta
Arrive at the international Airport of Yogyakarta (Java) and be met for transfer to your hotel.
Drive to Borobudur Temple, the famous 8th century Buddhist architectural masterpiece. Then on to the equally famous 9th century Prambanan Hindu Temple….
After an early morning breakfast, transfer by train and bus to Bromo, visiting enroute the Trowulan Village and the ruins of the Majapahit Kingdom.
Go on a very early morning trip by jeep to the Penanjakan View Point (2.700 m) to see the spectacular view of Bromo Volcano at sunrise. Soak in the beauty of this sight and then drive down the hill to walk uphill to inspect and explore the Bromo Volcano Crater. After a short rest, fly to Denpasar and check in to your hotel.
Explore the beaches of Bali, stretch, get a sun-tan, read a book… do whatever, just chill…
A packed day visiting Mengwi for the Royal Family Temple of Taman Ayun, Alas Kedaton for the sacred rainforest Monkey Forest and then Tanah Lot for the Sea Temple by Sunset.
Drive to Batubulan village to attend the Barong and Keris dance performance. Then on to the art and handicraft villages of Celuk, Batuan, Mas and Ubud, to witness gold and silver work, hand weaving woodcarving and painting. Proceed to Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), a Hindu meditation centre dating back to the 11th Century. Continue to Geopark Batur to view the magnificent panorama of the still active Mt. Batur volcano and Lake Batur in Kintamani.
Relax on the beach till it’s time for your transfer to the Denpasar Airport (Bali) to head home after a quick glimpse at Indonesia…
