Day 1
Arrive at Kota Kinabalu

Arrive at Kota Kinabalu and get transferred to your tour hotel. Relax and settle into your hotel and if you feel like it take a stroll around town. This is an evening dedicated to understanding the culture and history of ancient Borneo through the unique architecture, simulated lives and ritualistic ceremonies, sampling of traditional Sabahan delicacies from each of the ethnic groups, traditional bamboo cooking and a cultural show performance by the tribes culminating in a delectable traditional dinner. Day 2
Jambatan Tamparuli

Drive through scenic countryside and across mountains to Tamparuli Town with its historical wooden shophouses and walk across the “Jambatan Tamparuli”, a suspension bridge which is the famous landmark in that small town to get a feel of the Kampong lifestyle. Then drive on to the World Heritage Site of the Kinabalu National Park with its refreshing and cooling air. Walk along the nature trails to the view point for a panoramic view of the surrounding lush landscape and Mount Kinabalu, rising majestically into the sky. Take to the 41m high Canopy Walkway which offers spectacular views of the lush Borneo Rainforest. The Poring Hot Springs, a natural health spa set amidst a tropical rainforest beckons you for some relaxation before heading out to your hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 3
Kinabatangan River

Drive down to your luxury rainforest Lodge in Sandakan along the Kinabatangan River. Hop on the boat for a mystical river cruise to spot the famous Borneo Pygmy Elephants, orangutans, Proboscis Monkeys and other wildlife – your first taste of the wilderness of Borneo… (B, L, D)

Day 4
The jungles of Borneo

This is the day to soak in the wild… the jungles of Borneo – the calls of gibbons and hornbills will wake you up in time to head out on a morning river cruise up the Kinabatangan River Ox-Bow Lake for birdwatching. And then another river cruise in the late afternoon to see more wildlife along the Sukau Kinabatangan River Bank… (B, L, D)

Day 5

Depart for the famous Gomantong cave located within the Gomantong forest reserve. Explore the largest bird’s nest cave in Sabah, home to millions of bats and swiftlets (Did you know, the nests of the swiftlets are collected for the famous Chinese edible bird nest soup?). And then on to the Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre situated in the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve… After watching these intelligent primates being fed, head to Sandakan Airport for your flight back to Kota Kinabalu. Day 6
Borneo Reef World

Transfer to the boat that will take you to the “Borneo Reef World”, the largest reef activity pontoon in South East Asia. Change and begin your snorkelling experience among the coral reefs, or tour the unique Underwater Observatory or simply laze around the beach/pontoon to enjoy the scenic view of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. And then on to the white sandy beaches of Sapi Island for some sun-bathing or a short forest walk. Get back to the city and celebrate the end of a fabulously “Beyonder” experience… (B, L)

Day 7

Bid farewell to Borneo and get transferred to Kota Kinabalu International Airport for your flight back to your next destination. (B)
