Rio de Janeiro
Arrive in Rio de Janeiro and get transferred to your hotel to quickly freshen up and rush out to explore one of the most beautiful cities in the world – take your pick from among green hills, blue sky, beautiful bays, islands and marvelous beaches. Hit any of the most popular beaches – Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon to chill, watch the people engaged in soccer, listen to the musicians playing live or just relax with a drink…
Statue of Christ
Go on an excursion to the Sugar Loaf, the Urca Mountain, Copacabana beach, the bay, the surrounding mountains, islands in the ocean, bridge to Niteroi, Guanabara Bay and the statue of Christ on Corcovado Mountain. Head out to the central regions of the old Rio to admire the architecture and Colonial vibe of the old churches, monasteries and the Carioca streets.
Step out in the evening to enjoy the first impressions of the exciting pulse of Rio de Janeiro…Or just relax among the palm trees drinking coconut water and listening to samba. Whatever you choose – you can find it easily in Rio!
Drive down to the station for a train ride through the scenic, animal-inhabited Tijuca forest to the top of Corcovado. At the top of Corcovado, at an altitude of 700 m above sea level, stands the symbol of Rio – Statue of Christ the Savior (38m), which was built in 1931. A breathtaking panorama view of the metropolis and its environs Bridge Niteroi, Guanabara Bay, the Botanical Garden, the world’s largest Maracana stadium, Sugar Loaf, and more is possible from the top of Corcovado.
The evening as usual is for relaxing either in a club or by the beach… Or however you prefer…
Drive down to the airport for your flight to Manaus. Upon arrival, get transferred to your hotel – after a bit of relaxation and a short stroll around the town, say hello to the alligators on a night canoe tour.
This is the day dedicated to learn about the customs and traditions of a local Indian tribe. Drive down to the village and be part of their daily routine to observe and learn from close quarters…
Head out to the meeting point of the Rivers Negro and Solimões, walk around in palafitas at tree top level, meet with bands of monkeys in their own habitat, gawk at the big trees of Amazonia “Samaumeira” – in short, be at one with the spectacular Amazonia…
Take a last peek at the spectacular sunrise in the Amazon and head out for a jungle hike. On your return, get transferred to the airport for your return flight after a week spent in paradise…
