Day 1:
Arrive in Frankfurt

Arrive in Frankfurt and make your own way to the booked hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, head out for a hop on hop off city tour of Frankfurt.

Day 2:
Rüdesheim

Hop on to a local train to Rüdesheim. After check-in to your hotel, explore and enjoy this quaint World heritage Site – a winemaking town in the Rhine Gorge… Go local with a vengeance – take a gondola ride for a fabulous view of the Rhine Valley, walk through the vineyards, try some of the famous Rüdesheim Coffee… It’s quite a pick-me-up – I can vouch for that ;-).

Day 3:
Rüdesheim

Embark the ship from Rüdesheim to St.Goar and back to enjoy the world-famous rocky outcrops, resplendent with ancient myth and the fair maid with blonde hair – this trip is just the thing for those who love romance as the Rhine transforms its magical past into reality. The steep vineyards, quaint little towns, the huge, formidable fortresses and the Loreley itself are symbols of a legendary, turbulent past. This passionate beauty will accompany us from Rüdesheim to St. Goarshausen, from the gentle spring to the golden days of autumn – and even into hoary winter! You only have to ask and we’ll show you something wonderful: ‘Germany’s Fairy-tale. At St. Goarshausen board the train back to Rüdesheim.

Day 4:
Koblenz

Board a local train to Koblenz, a picturesque 2000-year old town located in the picturesque landscape of the Rhine and Moselle and surrounded by four low mountain ranges is this 2000-year-old town. Get lost in the abundance of cultural monuments and historic buildings, cosy lanes and narrow alleyways… Soak in the relaxed and happy atmosphere of its squares and river promenades that make Koblenz a friendly town where its guests feel right at home. Take in a city tour, visit the Fortress and castles, take in the majestic views, walk the romantic streets, lounge about the ancient squares and fountain – in short, let yourself be cast under the romantic spell of Koblenz….

Day 5:
Bonn

Train it down to Germany’s former capital city Bonn and enjoy a day of sightseeing. Once a Roman settlement and recently the capital of the young Federal Republic of Germany, today, Bonn is an attractive UN and University city with a rich cultural life… Discover on your own the many faces of Bonn and the architectural heritage of more than 2000 years of city history on the Big City Tour.

Day 6:
Cologne

Start your excursion to Cologne from a different perspective – experience a scenic cruise along the Rhine and admire the sights of the city from the water. Hop on to a double-decker open-top bus with fantastic views of the city makes this tour a real experience. And then on to Frankfurt to celebrate the last evening of the trip – maybe with a bit of shopping or maybe a night out on town….

Day 7:
Bye…

Head out to the airport for your flight back after a short capsule of romance in one of the most beautiful parts of Germany…
