Explore Kanchanaburi (L,D)
Land in Bangkok in the morning and get whisked away straight to the Erawan waterfalls in the midst of a forest. Get over the shocking change in surroundings, trek up the waterfall, play in the water, swim, get refreshed… Then on to revisiting the horror of the historical Hellfire pass and memorial museum after lunch… Then on to the floating bungalows of the Krit raft house where you can unwind with activities like relaxing on a private raft, swimming, body rafting…
It is worth trekking upto the top most point of the Erawan waterfalls or atleast walk up as much as you can.
Mineral Spa (B,L,D)
Departure from the floating bungalows to pamper yourself at the Mineral Spa. Post lunch, visit a historical park and then get back to your private raft, go swimming, body rafting or simply relax and binge on some authentic Thai food
Trekking and Kayaking in the Jungle (B,L,D)
After a hearty breakfast, kayak down the river to a jungle camp – a clutch of simple bungalows in the middle of a forest. Prepare and have lunch with the local families living there. Head out for a trek/ biking in the jungle – choose the trekking routes based on your comfortable difficulty levels. Get back for an enervating swim and just relax…
Krasae Cave & Death Railway Bridge (B,L)
After breakfast, drive down to the Krasae Cave and the Death Railway wooden bridge. Then on to lunch and your dose of World War II history – the bridge over the River Kwai, the war cemetery and the quaint little town that saw much of it… Drive down to the citylights of Bangkok and step into another world…
Don’t miss the train ride on the Bridge over River Kwai.
Explore Bangkok (B)
Head out to the city and explore on your own. Sample the great street food, amble along the bustling market places, visit the ancient China town area or simply relax one of the roadside bars.
Shop till you drop and head out to the airport to catch your flight back home
