Arrive at Tel Aviv
Arrive in Tel Aviv and check-in to your Hotel – have the day at leisure.
Jaffa, Caesarea, Megiddo, Tiberius
After a short walking tour of Jaffa, leave for Tiberius. En route make short visits to Caesarea (Port, Roman Theatre, Hippodrome) and Megiddo (the site of the Armageddon).
Around the Sea of Galilee
From Tiberius visit Capernaum, Tabgha, the Mount of Beatitudes and the Golan Heights.
Nazareth, Beit Shean & Jerusalem
After a short tour of Nazareth, proceed through the Jordan Valley towards Jerusalem visiting Cana and Beit Shean on the way.
Masada & the Dead Sea
After ascending the fortress at Masada for breath-taking views of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea, proceed for a ‘float’ on the Dead Sea.
Jerusalem – the Holy City
A full day of sightseeing today: Starting with panoramic views from Mt. Scopus, visit the Mont of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, the Old city including the western wall, the Temple Area and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and finally Mt. Zion (tomb of Kind David and the room of the Last supper).
Jerusalem – the Holy City
Today’s visits include Yad Vashem (memorial of the Holocaust victims), the picturesque village of Ein Karem (the birthplace of St. John the Baptist), Israel Museum (with the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem), the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) and the Hebrew University. Later visit the Bethlehem to see Rachel’s Tomb and the Church of the Nativity
Jerusalem – Amman
Leave for Jerash – one of the cities of the Decapolis for a short tour of the best-preserved Roman ruins outside Italy, before proceeding on to Amman. Go on a short city tour before closing the day.
Madaba, Mt. Nebo, Shobak & Petra
A day of visiting various important historical locations: starting with Madaba (with the mosaic map of the Holy Land), Mt. Nebo (from where Moses saw the Promised land), Shobak (Crusaders’ castle) before checking into your hotel in Petra.
Start the day with the amazing tour of Petra – the Rose city. Walk through the amazing Siq and wait for the mysterious view of the Al Khazanha – the Treasury! Leave for Amman after the Petra tour.
Tel-Aviv and Departure
Start for Tel-Aviv bidding adieu to Amman and Jordan.
