This is a quick glimpse of the beauty and ancient history of Turkey. It encapsulates the rich history of the ancient capital of many ruling dynasties and religions… As also a glimpse of the beauty of the famous Cappadocia region – the history and natural beauty in this region are best experienced in a leisurely fashion… This is what we attempt to do despite the short duration of the capsule.

Arrive in Istanbul to be welcomed and transferred to the hotel.
Istanbul – City Tour
Embark on a city tour of this ancient city covering the Sultan Ahmet Square, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, the fountain of Emperor Wilhelm, Hagia Sophia, former Church of the Holy Wisdom and the Topkapi Palace Museum (B).
Istanbul – Asian side
Visit the Asian side of Istanbul with the Camlica Hill,Beylerbeyi Palace, Grand Bazaar and Eyüp district(B).
Fly down to Cappadocia and get transferred to the hotel (B, D).
Drive around Cappadocia
Visit the various ancient sights of Cappadocia driving around the area and taking short hikes – the open air museum of Göreme. Dervent, Avanos and Ortahisar. (B, D).
Visit of the underground city of Derinkuyu and take short easy hikes to Uchisar, Avcilar and Pasabag. (B, D).
Drive and hike around the picturesque Cappadocian region of Soganli visiting Ürgüp, Sinasos and Pancarlik. (B, D).
Transfer to the airport of Kayseri or Nevsehir and fly via Istanbul back home. (B, D).
If you wish to visit Konya, the ancient city dating back to 3000 BC, which is the home of Islamic mysticism, the Land of the Whirling Dervishes and the place made famous by Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi, we could organise a one-day excursion from Cappadocia on Day 6 or Day 7 in the above itinerary (this will cost an extra price of USD 120 per person for a group of 4 persons).
